paeds posting

yesterday was my last paeds oncall!~ weehoo!!!
and today aku sgt2 malas. bgn pagi kol 830am! haha ye lah, smlm jonah, kol 6pg bru dpt tdo. datang2 je sume dah rounds. LOL! tgl rounds ngn specialist n prof je. ngeeheehee.. =D
pastu tgh hari boleh plak aku g tdo 2 jam kan!! hahaha.. bgn2 dah kol 3ptg. of course la diorg dah abes rounds petang jugak. wahahaha.. tgl tgu specialist n bagi chemo je. ahahaha.. suke hati ko jek aziahh oii..

aku nk cerite tentang posting paeds aku ni sementara masih fresh diingatan. huhuhu..
oh btw, td menyesal aku tak buat IT MTX tuh. boleh lak aku g offer abi utk buat, pdhl i should berebut peluang buat mende tu, ntah2 lps ni dah tak kan dpt buat sbb dah bkn kt paeds lg kan. ape laa aziah. tp arini mmg ari malas aku. lantak lahh..

GENERAL PAEDS
i was in team Prof B.ilkis (yeay team purple!!). awal2 dlu my MO's are Dr W.anJ.u, Dr A.rfizah and Dr A.zlina, sume best2. kitorg cam backing each other sbb prof kan garang giller kann!! so waktu ward round pepagi tu, make sure setiap org present case so we share the burden of being scolded. hehehehe... pandai kan we'oll? :P i was the only housemen at the time. it was scary, but fun at the same time.

then the team changed. i got my partner in crime, abi and all the MO's also changed. it was Dr G.hazali and Dr T.iew plus another ED attachment Dr K.hairi. team ni okey la. since abi and Dr G got their own chemistry, i kindda felt left out sket. ahahaha.. tak terase ponn!!!~

NICU
i started alone as well. for a week! oh sgt2 blurr waktu ni. feeding increament pon tak reti. tp semua MO kt sini baik2. byk la jugak aku blaja in the 1st week tu. aku tak ikot team (Prof C.heah / Prof S.hareena or Prof R.ohana) pon, sbb aku sorg2 kan.. so aku buat je la utk semua team. MO ade 6. Dr F.lorence, Dr A.zura, Dr H.azimah, Dr W.anJ.u, Dr A.dli, Dr R.ohaida. semua baik2! oh 1st week tu agak suffer la sbb kerje2 nicu aku kene buat, and aku jugak yg pegang pager! wallaweiii... pastu waktu 2nd and 3rd week dah ade baha dan aizuddin. baru lah kitorg cam ade routines sket. best!! 3 org mmg cukup2 la utk cover nicu tu. then 4th and 5th week, dtg lak nang. perghh.. ni mmg masyukk.. setiap hari boleh pegi lunch :P haha yg kelakarnye kalo pegi lunch aku xleh pegang pager, sbb omg kalo pager tu kt tgn aku mmg tak berenti berbunyi siottt!!! labour room mmg suke aku ek? oh terima kaseh laa.. ahahahaa

PAEDS ONCOLOGY
was in paeds onco for 4 weeks. specialist (Dr L.oh) baikkkk sgt3.. Prof Z.arina rounds seminggu sekali je, ari rabu kot. a'ah ye lah, sbb td die ade buat rounds. skrg ni housemen melimpah ruah! ahahaha.. this week ade 5 kot!! mmg besttt.. 1st week dlu, me, aizuddin, adele and fadzrul, then 2nd week, me, aizuddin, baha, pastu 3rd week, me, aizuddin, baha, abi. skrg my 5th week, me, aizuddin, baha, abi, and lau! MO ade 4 (Dr N.urul, Dr A.rfizah, Dr T.ai and Dr A.zri). 2 mgu pertama tu Dr A.zri takde sbb die wat exam die, tp okla jugak, sbb patient onco bknnye ramai sgt pon. waktu abi masuk je tetibe ramai gile. cett.. jonah punye minah! :P oh yg aku rse paling best n membanggakan is aku dpt buat BMA sorg2 from clean and drapped, bg local, amek BMA, then trephine with only 1 attempt!!! MO tgk je tak interfere langsung. owhh sgt hepi di hari tersebut. (walaupon hari sebelomnye ade some personal things yg not very happy. but who cares! pffftttt).

ASSESSMENT
my 1st assessment i did in NICU (patotnye buat general paeds dlu, tp Prof J.uanita xnk buat utk aku. fine). Prof R assess aku secara tibe2 je tgh2 grand round then die ckp "haa ni assessment awk". erkkk.. terus menggelabah gile wehh aku. gigil2 trus, pdhl sblm tu punyelah confident present case. naseb baik case neonatal jaundice je and mmg aku yg clerk patient tu btol2 hari sebelomnye waktu die admit. fuhh.. tp malu ar siott.. specialist ade kt situ, sume MOs ade, sume housemen ade. eeee.. (xkesah laa.. asalkan aku pass)

2nd assessment i asked from my gen paeds prof. hohoho!! ye yg garang itu! sume org terkejottt aku nk buat assessment ngn die. aku pon terkejot jgk ngn keberanian diri aku sendiri. hahaha.. ok org lain assessment buat 1 case jek, aku buat 4 case okeyh!! 1st examination of respiratory system. errr.. i failed this one coz i didnt check whether the liver is push down or not. dem!! then 2nd case is neurological examination of lower limbs. naseb baik pass. patient tu cerebral palsy kot aku rse. so ade findings arr.. 3rd case spot diagnosis, die suruh aku wat general examination je. naseb baik aku nampak sclera mate budak tu biru weh! trus igt osteogenesis imperfecta!! 4th case aku present case AGE yg aku clerk waktu aku oncall. then die tnye2 psl diagnosis and management. soalan biase2 je aku rse. i mean fair la.. mcm how to assess hydration status, how to correct hypernatraemic dehydration as oppose to iso/hyponatraemic dehydration, consequences of hypo/hyperkalaemia etc.

actually aku tulis ni supaye aku igt la. saje kenang-kenangan ;)
harap2 bile aku pegi ED (as my last posting. ecehh.. boleh lak aku decide sendiri walaupon aku tak tahu lg sbnrnye), takde la aku blurr sgt utk manage case2 paediatrics kan.. yeaaa rightttt.. pdhl kt sini takde sikit pon tulis mengenai management. kikikii

eh lately kan.. aku makan byk gillerrrr tau!!! aku pon tak sure nape la aku mkn byk sgt3.. kalo aku list-kan surely takde org caye aku leh mkn sebyk itu. aku sendiri pon tak caye. breakfast roti - air oats - spegetti (lunch x1) - limau ais - biscuits - kuih - skittles - laksa (lunch x2) - keropok ikan - carrot susu - kuih - kacang - nasi goreng daging merah (late dinner) - oren twister - biskut bdk2 - kekacang - kuey teow goreng (lunch) - apple juice - lollipop - bday choc cake - biskut tiger - and now i'm going to eat nasi! oh my oh my!!~ tak tahu lah because i'm happy right now with my current relationship or because i'm more depressed as there are 2 persons who love me and my ex are chasing me! tetttttt----
